Ebury is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the Treasury domain, based in Málaga or Madrid with a hybrid schedule. You will help build and maintain the data platform, enabling treasury reporting, risk monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions. We value strong SQL, Python, and English fluency, plus experience with dbt, BigQuery, DataStudio, and Sigma.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics, preferably in Treasury or Finance.
• Advanced SQL skills with ability to read/write complex queries.
• Experience with modern data stack tools: dbt, GCP BigQuery, DataStudio, Sigma.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Financial Services/Capital Markets experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Model data in the platform to perform Treasury analytics and build reports.

Senior Data Analyst – Treasury

Location: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) – Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

About the role

Ebury's strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Reporting team, and we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain! Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury's Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to monitor our Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams
• Be responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain
• Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our treasury stakeholders and auditors
• Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics – applied to Treasury or Finance is a plus!
• Advanced SQL skills – must be able to read and write complex SQL queries
• Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus!) – we use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio), Sigma
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format
• Experience working with Python is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
• Track record of working autonomously with time management skills
• Fluency in English
• Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc.) is a good plus!
