Formación

As an HSE Technician at MAHLE, you will perform the functions of a risk prevention technician, such as risk assessment, technical reporting, supporting internal safety audits, and managing and monitoring HSE training of employees, assuming the role of HSE technician within the company’s own prevention service and managing occupational risk and environmental prevention.

  • Supporting the Prevention and Environment department in all its functions.
  • Forming part of the company's own occupational risk prevention service.
  • Carrying out risk assessment according to the specialities assumed by the SPP (health and safety); drawing up, updating and revising the document.
  • Carrying out specific assessments or studies in the field of Ergonomics and Psychosociology; helping in the implementation of measures aimed at avoiding or reducing risks in this discipline.
  • Carrying out the planning of preventive activity; establishing the preventive and corrective measures that are necessary according to the results of the risk assessments.
  • Assistance in the management of preventive and corrective measures; carrying out the necessary steps to ensure the implementation of preventive and corrective measures.
  • Cooperation in the process of drawing up the annual and periodical reports of the SPP.
  • Staff training and information; providing ORP training to company staff and informing them of the risks and preventive measures.
  • Management of PPE; orders, delivery, documentary record of deliveries.
  • Accident investigation; preparation of investigation reports and their reporting.
  • Measurements of any type (lighting, temperature, humidity, noise, chemical contaminants, etc.); preparation of reports.
  • Interlocution with the SPA; support and accompaniment of the technicians of the external prevention service during consultations or visits.
  • Management of the virtual platform for preventive management; uploading of data, reports.
  • Management of staff health surveillance; coordination with the SPA for medical check-ups, documentary control of letters of aptitude or resignations.
  • Coordination between plants; application of the rules, guidelines or procedures established at the general level of the company and of the SPP and SPA in each plant of the company.
  • Coordination of business activities; establishment of means of coordination with external companies.
  • Management of preventive maintenance of equipment and installations.
  • Management of registrations, cancellations of workers, equipment, processes.
  • Technical support to the SPP in our Motilla and Boecillo centres.
  • Preparation and reporting of reports required by the company at a global level.
  • Support and management tasks in internal and external audits.
  • Support and management of inspections; support and accompaniment of INVASAT qualified technicians.
  • Health and Safety Committee meetings.
  • Attendance at meetings or events that the company may organise in other countries.
  • Participation in safety and environmental audits in other foreign plants of the company.
  • Management of the environmental part of the company and the department; audits, follow-up of action plans, environmental training for company staff, ISO 14001.

Your Skills & Strengths

  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in External or Internal Occupational Risk Prevention Service.
  • Master of prevention of labour risks with 3 specialities (safety, hygiene, ergonomics-psycho-sociology).
  • Electronic Engineering Degree.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
