About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our global Commercial Insurance team. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, analyzing complex data sets, developing dashboards, ensuring data quality, and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business performance.
- Develop clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements based on your analysis.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across various sources and processes.
- Work alongside experts in various technological domains.

Qualifications
- Professional experience working with data and exposure to data engineering concepts.
- Proficient using SQL for querying and data manipulation, good understanding of query optimization and indexing, whether in RDBMS or big data environments.
- Experience with cloud‑based technology and solution design (e.g., Microsoft Azure Products, Databricks).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Scala or R.
- Hands‑on experience across different stages of the data lifecycle—from data gathering and cleaning to visualization and reporting.
- Interest or experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques, particularly in NLP or text analytics.
- Previous experience in insurance is an advantage.
- A can‑do attitude, focused on delivering valuable, user‑friendly solutions tailored to specific business challenges.
- Eagerness to solve real business problems, with the persistence to see your recommendations through to implementation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.
