What you will do

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As a Data Analyst in the Performance Marketing team, you will play a key role in optimizing our performance marketing strategies across SEM, Paid Social, Display, Video, and other digital channels for our various products. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex analytical projects, work with large datasets, and directly influence marketing efficiency, campaign performance, and overall business growth.

Optimizing Performance Marketing Campaigns
  1. Structure, analyze, and interpret data to uncover opportunities to improve SEM, Paid Social, Display, and other digital advertising performance.
  2. Conduct in-depth numerical analysis to identify key drivers, trends, and changes impacting performance marketing efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and marketing teams to maintain, validate, and optimize data sources.
  4. Develop and enhance automated data extraction tools and maintain dashboards for real-time performance tracking.
  5. Provide accurate data, insights, and forecasts to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  6. Identify and deliver actionable insights that drive growth and improve overall marketing strategies.
Delivering Insights & Recommendations
  1. Present findings, analysis, and recommendations in a clear, concise manner, tailoring communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  2. Use multiple formats (reports, dashboards, presentations) to facilitate decision-making and optimize marketing investments.
  3. Research and implement advanced tools, models, and methodologies to further strengthen our analytics toolkit.
  4. Continuously explore new ways to enhance data processes and improve the efficiency of performance tracking across various digital marketing channels.
What you need to succeed

Job Requirements

Must-haves

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Technical Skills: 2+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, and BI / visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
  3. Data Proficiency: Experience working with large datasets, performing complex analyses, and integrating data from various sources.
  4. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how data insights impact performance marketing strategy and business growth.
  5. Analytical Mindset: Ability to extract insights from data and provide actionable recommendations.
  6. Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Passion for exploring data, uncovering actionable insights, and continually seeking innovative analytical approaches.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  8. Self-Starter & Organised: Methodical and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  9. Advanced Analytical Experience: 3+ years of experience in a data-driven analytical role.
  10. Performance Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of digital advertising channels (e.g., SEM, Paid Social, Display, Video), with bonus points for experience in the travel industry.
  11. Web & Marketing Analytics: Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other marketing measurement tools.
