At ING, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our Conversion and Underwriting Team of the Home & Protection Tribe.

Your Role And Work Environment

You are a true business data analytics expert capable of working closely with stakeholders across Mortgages Process. Your goal is to maximize conversion and customer satisfaction by identifying opportunities to simplify and make transparent the mortgage process for ING clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support analytical needs through descriptive analysis, generating insights and recommendations for better decision-making and improved commercial results.
• Analyze product trends to increase sales conversion and reduce attrition.
• Assist and advise the business on reporting and analytical needs, communicating key findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in our Data Fluency Program.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or related field with strong analytical content.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel; knowledge of R or Python is a plus.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, transforming data into business insights using statistical/analytical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to think creatively and implement practical solutions.
• Willingness to learn and improve both technical and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and structured work approach.
• Fluent English is appreciated.

Additional valued skills

• Knowledge of reporting tools like Microstrategy and statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience with data visualization in PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel skills for automated reporting.
