As a Data & AI Architect

You will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing the architecture of the solution, designing the data architecture, analyzing risks and mitigations, managing data pipelines, and supporting the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions.

Main responsibilities
  1. Gather requirements from business stakeholders.
  2. Translate business needs into technical solutions.
  3. Track the progress of implementations.
  4. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  5. Manage and optimize data architectures to support AI and machine learning workflows.
  6. Analyze and optimize the performance of data pipelines.
  7. Propose and develop valuable reporting solutions based on internal customer requirements and business needs.
  8. Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with internal standards and regulations.
Tech stack

Data Platform: Azure Fabric. Data management tools: Pyspark, SQL. Programming language: Python. Cloud tools: Azure Devops, Azure Boards, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault. Reporting tool: Power BI. Other tools: Git, Terraform.

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • At least 12 months of hands-on experience working in Big Data Environments.
  • Proven experience designing data and software architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and Pyspark (also valid Spark in Scala or R).
  • Familiarity with platforms like Databricks or Microsoft Fabric for scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure; exposure to AWS or others is a plus.
  • Understanding of modern data storage approaches (data lakes, lakehouses, cloud-native warehouses).
  • Awareness of data governance, data quality, and security considerations in enterprise settings.
Core competencies
  • Solid knowledge of data engineering and modern big data architectures (e.g., lakehouse, Data Warehouse, medallion architecture).
  • Experience building pipelines for AI solutions.
  • Designing scalable big data models aligned with business needs.
  • Optimizing big data pipelines in real-world scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of Machine Learning concepts and their application.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices (e.g., model versioning, monitoring, automation) is a plus.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex data environments independently.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in dynamic settings.
  • Comfort using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to support insights delivery.
Location flexibility

You may be based in any of our offices located in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, or Norway, depending on your residence and availability.
