Overview

Senior EUCC Certifier Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a cybersecurity expert with a strong background in certification principles and quality assurance under international standards. We are seeking an experienced Senior EUCC Certifier to manage cybersecurity certification processes and lead complex projects under the European Union Common Criteria (EUCC) framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EUCC certification projects from initiation to final certification decision.
• Provide technical oversight, reviewing laboratory evaluation reports, assessing conformance with ISO / IEC 15408 and ISO / IEC 18045, and verifying certification deliverables.
• Make informed decisions regarding certifications, issuing, suspending, or withdrawing them based on structured evidence and certification criteria.
• Operate and maintain the QMS of the Certification Body in alignment with ISO / IEC 17065 and regulatory State of the Art documents.
• Supervise and mentor junior certifiers and trainees, contributing to their professional development.
• Serve as a trusted liaison with clients and national / EU authorities, ensuring certification activities align with regulatory expectations.
• Monitor certified products, approved labs, and certificate holders to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Participate in vulnerability handling and disclosure processes for certified products with manufacturers and national cybersecurity certification authorities.
• Develop internal training programs and client awareness sessions on EUCC and certification best practices.
• Contribute to certification schemes beyond EUCC, including the definition of security requirements, evaluation methodologies, and conformity assessment processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity evaluation and certification.
• At least 3 years of direct experience in Common Criteria certification or evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong expertise in ISO / IEC 15408 : 2022 and ISO / IEC 18045 : 2022.
• Proven ability to work with or manage CABs, laboratories, and regulators within structured conformity assessment frameworks.
