Siemens Energy in Navarra, Spain, is looking for a Cybersecurity Officer to support a broad range of cybersecurity activities, strengthen the organization’s security posture, and promote awareness of cybersecurity policies across teams.

The role emphasizes policy adherence, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership in developing internal cybersecurity capabilities and communities that drive secure practices within the business.

Formación

• University degree or equivalent in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-level cybersecurity and/or information technology.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, multinational teams.
• Strong initiative with focus on quality and results-driven outcomes.
• Fluency in business English and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and drive adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates across the organization.
• Advise non-senior management and cybersecurity communities on policies and best practices.
• Promote cybersecurity objectives within local communities to raise security awareness.
• Understand cybersecurity needs of the business and ensure effective delivery of cybersecurity solutions.
• Build and support Cyber Security Ambassador communities to promote secure practices.
• Collaborate with Siemens Energy’s cybersecurity team and other business areas to enhance security functions.

As a Cybersecurity Officer, you will address a wide range of cybersecurity support requests from various teams and individuals throughout the organization. Your efforts will help advance business activities, promote organizational cybersecurity awareness and adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing internal cybersecurity capabilities and fostering communities that proactively enhance the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee and drive adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates across the organization.


• Provide Guidance: Advise non-senior management and cybersecurity communities on cybersecurity policies, core cybersecurity processes and other aspects of cybersecurity best practices and strategies.


• Promote Cybersecurity Objectives: Advance cybersecurity initiatives and objectives within local communities to enhance overall security awareness.


• Assess and Deliver: Understand the cybersecurity needs of the SE business and ensure effective delivery of cybersecurity solutions.


• Foster Cyber Security Ambassadors: Build, maintain, and support communities of Cyber Security Ambassadors to promote cybersecurity awareness and practices.


• Collaborate Across Teams: Participate in select sub-teams within Siemens Energy’s Cybersecurity team and other business areas to support and enhance cybersecurity functions.

What You Bring

• Educational Foundation: A university degree or equivalent experience in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is essential for success in this role.


• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-level cybersecurity and/or information technology is required, with a proven track record across various functions and industries.


• Intercultural Awareness: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, multinational teams.


• Personal Initiative: Strong personal initiative, with a focus on quality and results-driven outcomes, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders to support cybersecurity goals and initiatives.


• Communication Skills: Fluency in business English is required, along with proficiency in local languages. The ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms is essential for supporting international business activities.


• Compliance Oversight: Proven ability to oversee and drive adherence to cybersecurity policies and processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
