Job summary

GMV Spain is seeking a cybersecurity coordinator to lead the GOVSATCOM program in the space and secure communications sector. You will oversee cross-functional cybersecurity teams and ensure traceability of requirements across all lifecycle phases.

Responsibilities include coordinating risk analysis, accreditation, infrastructure security and testing, reporting progress to systems engineering and program management, and preparing security deliverables for the client.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of risk analysis, accreditation processes, infrastructure security, and/or penetration testing.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, ENS, STIC, NIST, or equivalents).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity teams (infrastructure, risk analysis, accreditation, testing) from a program-wide perspective.
• Ensure traceability of cybersecurity requirements across all phases of the project.
• Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of security-related activities.
• Consolidate and present cybersecurity status to systems engineering and program management.
• Identify dependencies and cross-functional risks among cybersecurity areas.
• Participate in technical follow-up meetings with client and engineering teams.
• Support preparation of security-related deliverables and documentation.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will join the engineering team for the GOVSATCOM program, working in a high-impact environment within the space and secure communications sector. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the various technical cybersecurity teams, ensuring consistency and effectiveness throughout all phases of the system's lifecycle.

The project environment encompasses multiple areas of cybersecurity (risk analysis, accreditation, infrastructure hardening, penetration testing, etc.) and requires a cross-functional and strategic perspective to align technical work with client requirements, regulatory frameworks, and program priorities.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the activities of the technical cybersecurity teams (infrastructure, risk analysis, accreditation, testing, etc.) from a program-wide perspective.
• Ensuring the traceability of cybersecurity requirements and compliance with them throughout all phases of the project.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of security-related activities.
• Consolidate and present the status of cybersecurity work to the systems engineering team and program management.
• Identify dependencies and cross-functional risks among the various areas of cybersecurity.
• Participate in technical follow-up meetings with the client and engineering teams.
• Support the preparation of security-related deliverables and technical documentation.

For this position, we are looking for a cybersecurity coordinator with experience managing or coordinating cybersecurity activities in complex technical environments.

You must demonstrate a solid understanding of risk analysis, accreditation processes, infrastructure security, and/or penetration testing. In addition, knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, ENS, STIC, NIST, or equivalents) is required.
