At ERNI, you’ll join global teams developing cutting-edge hardware and software platforms in automation and robotics.

As a Cybersecurity Champion , your mission is to embed security into every step of the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and shaping a culture where cybersecurity is everyone's responsibility.

You’ll have a tailored career plan, continuous training, and the freedom to propose solutions, not just execute them. And when a project ends, we’re already planning what’s next, with you in mind.

What’s it like to be a Cybersecurity Champion at ERNI?

Real tech, real impact : You’ll work in advanced industrial projects, helping teams build secure-by-design products from the ground up.

Career growth & training : Whether you want to go deep as a technical expert or move into leadership. You’ll have access to 500+ courses, get rewarded for certifications (up to €1,400 each), and receive ongoing mentorship with regular 1 : 1s not just during onboarding, but throughout your journey at ERNI.

Flexible work : Hybrid by design. We believe strong relationships with teammates, projects, and clients grow best in person so most teams meet 2–3 days per week. But you’ll manage your own schedule, with real autonomy and trust from day one.

Benefits that count : Private health insurance, paid parental leave, 23 vacation days, relocation support, and team events that celebrate progress together.

Key responsibilities

Lead security best practices : Because catching vulnerabilities early makes everything more efficient, and safer.

Collaborate internationally : You’ll work with teams in Spain and the U.S., aligning technical and regulatory requirements across countries. Good communication in English is key to building trust and making things happen globally.

Ensure compliance and traceability : You’ll use modern tools to detect vulnerabilities early, test runtime behavior, and manage risks in third-party dependencies ensuring compliance with international standards like IEC 62443.

Promote continuous improvement : You’ll help level up the whole team’s security awareness sharing best practices. Because great products are built by teams that learn and evolve together.

What you bring

  • 8+ years in product or application security.

To identify and mitigate risks early in the development lifecycle and guide the team with proven, real-world experience.

  • Strong knowledge of C++ or other backend.

You’ll review, understand, and guide secure coding practices for high-performance systems.

  • Experience with threat modeling (STRIDE, PASTA).

To proactively identify and address potential security threats in design discussions and architecture reviews.

  • Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.

To detect code vulnerabilities in an authomated way making them part of the CI / CD pipelines.

  • Strong English and collaboration skills.

You’ll be working daily with international teams in Spain and the U.S., aligning security requirements and driving conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ready to grow, learn, and make a real impact from day one?

At ERNI, you don’t just join a company—you live the experience.
