SCF GS is looking for a Cyber Threat Unit Specialist, based in our Madrid office.

Santander Consumer Finance Global Services focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers, or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers, or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Support in the definition, deployment, and integration of technical protect, detect, and response measures to cover security requirements across different SCF environments in coordination with Santander's global cybersecurity team.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify activities for the delivery and integration of cybersecurity technologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of protect measures in various countries within SCF global scope.
  • Support consultancy activities to ensure security in different SCF projects, mainly focusing on application security.
  • Follow up on the analysis of security incidents detected by the global SOC.
  • Assist in response activities when cybersecurity events are detected, including forensic activities and procedures.
  • Oversee Ethical Hacking tests and deployment of countermeasures to address vulnerabilities, along with monitoring vulnerability mitigation plans.
  • Identify and share best practices and synergies across all countries.
  • Maintain technical knowledge in the implementation and monitoring of security tools to enhance security in the SCF global environment.
  • Contribute to best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement proposals.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria :

Hard Skills :

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • High proficiency in English, at least B2, with a recommendation of C1.
  • Strong understanding of security threats and misconfigurations.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, ISACA (CISM / CSX / CISA), or similar are a plus.
  • Experience in Application Security.

Soft Skills :

  • Ability to work in a demanding and agile environment.
  • Team player.
  • Proactive with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
