At Airbus Defence and Space, the Integration Test & Analysis domain (TADVA) is looking for additional staff in the cybertesting area supporting Lab & Rig Integration Test activities. The successful applicant will become part of the TADVA team based in Getafe (depending on project workload, support to cybertesting activities at other sites such as Manching may be required for short-mid periods).

The scope covers test requirements gathering and assessment to define integrated test procedures and test plans; execution of tests, final results analysis and reporting.

Current customers include A330 MRTT, C295, A400M, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, TDMS, as well as Eurodrone (MALE RPAS) and FCAS (incl. NGF).

We are looking for a Cyber Test Specialist (mainly focused on penetration testing to identify design/system vulnerabilities) within the Integration Test & Analysis scope for the Spanish perimeter of TADVA at Getafe. You will support preparation, execution, analysis and reporting of cybertesting activities at subsystem/system level.

If you are a highly motivated engineer in the cyber security field with practical testing experience and comfortable with technical coordination across Test Centre domains and other stakeholders, this is a unique opportunity for a varied, interesting and challenging role.

Main Activities

• Provide cybersecurity consultancy and advisory to business projects.
• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on various systems and applications.
• Support TADVA projects by identifying and assessing security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and deliver detailed vulnerability assessment reports for TADVA projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures.
• Apply cyber knowledge to identify and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring robust protection.
• Support development, certification and qualification lab/rig cyber testing activities according to test project requirements.
• Ensure and support appropriate V&V strategy for these activities; monitor test progress.
• Participate in elaboration of test planning; review, optimize and challenge test requests.
• Interface with Design Offices, Airworthiness and certification authorities, supporting test activities at certification meetings when required.
• Provide expertise to Integration Managers and Chief Engineers regarding system architecture and design for Avionics & Mission Systems integration.
• Identify, categorize, track and analyze system misbehaviours, providing detailed information and impact to the designer.
• Optimize test data analysis methodologies and procedures and manage priorities.

Required Skills

We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in cybertesting and some experience in Integration Testing (RIG/LAB level). The following skills are required:

• Technical skills
  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Telecommunication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Security and/or Aircraft Safety.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security architecture and operating systems.
  • Experience in functional Security Testing and penetration/refutation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Aircraft Systems design and development.
• Soft Skills
  • Passionate about aircraft, security and technology.
  • Innovative mindset focused on challenging the status quo.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. German is an advantage but not essential.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as in international teams.
  • Strong customer focus and results orientation.
  • Ability to learn and grow in an evolving environment.

Note: The successful candidate will be subjected to a NATO Security clearance.
