Formación

You will be tasked with leading the Software Operations function to drive innovation and efficiency, enhancing processes for profitable and stable software delivery. Collaborate across teams to improve development productivity, resolve issues, ensure system reliability, develop and standardize frameworks for consistent, high-quality software deployment and operations. Monitor performance, identify improvements, and align resources to meet business needs effectively and cost-efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement strategies to drive operational innovation and efficiency, enhancing processes to deliver financially profitable, operationally stable, and industry-leading software processes.
  • Collaborate across business to enhance software development productivity and resolve operational issues, ensuring system reliability, availability, and scalability to meet product and customer needs.
  • Develop frameworks for the standardization of software deployment processes, development workflows, and system configurations to ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery worldwide.
  • Monitor and evaluate software delivery and operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to address inefficiencies and risk mitigation.
  • Align business requirements and capacity planning to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and scalable allocation of resources and investments.
  • Manage team budget to align with strategy, ensuring financial feasibility across projects and contributing to the development of the departmental budget.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and assess the financial impact of software operations in the portfolio, while planning for future needs, measuring ROI, and managing financial risks to enhance overall portfolio performance.
  • Lead and drive a management team with a focus on strategic delivery, setting clear direction and transparent expectations to exhibit the culture and values of the business and achieve / exceed KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service quality, including incident management, problem resolution, and change management processes.

Key Requirements :

  • 8-12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in site reliability engineering or observability / monitoring and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Advanced understanding of job-related concepts and specialization in some areas, and / or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT product deployment, configuration, support; infrastructure, development, operations, quality assurance, SLA management, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Engineering Methodologies and Frameworks, Business Process Improvement, Change Management.
  • Knowledge of Architecture & Design Principles; thorough understanding of business domain, business strategy, and long-term objectives.
