Cyber Security Risk Analyst - Risk Division

The RISK DIVISION is seeking a Cyber Security Risk Analyst (2LOD) based in our Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) office.

Understanding various types of risks—credit, interest rate, liquidity, operational, reputational—is essential, as their analysis and quantification are key to our goal of being a simple, personal, and fair bank.

Working in risk involves a management perspective that contributes to the sustainable progress of people and businesses.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of the Global 2LoD Cyber Security Risk function.
  • Providing independent assessment, challenge, and oversight of cyber risk practices carried out by the first line of defense.
  • Ensuring cyber risk is managed according to the risk appetite set by senior management.
  • Promoting a strong risk culture across the organization.

Tasks include:

  • Automating risk management processes in consolidated information dashboards.
  • Supporting technical deep dives on cyber-related topics.
  • Providing a comprehensive view of the cyber security risk profile.
  • Engaging with local 2LOD teams to ensure alignment and consistent methodologies.
  • Supporting holistic / RCSA processes and monitoring control effectiveness and risk mitigation strategies.

Experience required:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Cyber security.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Experience with reporting and development tools (e.g., PowerBI, Python) is preferred.
  • Degree in Engineering or a comparable quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

Education:

Relevant academic qualifications in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Information security certifications (CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CEH) are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive attitude appreciated.
