We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer (x|f|m) for our Network & Security Operations department in Madrid.

Are you passionate about shaping the future of managing and enhancing our cybersecurity framework?

In this pivotal role, you will bring your experience from IT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management to contribute to the development of our IT security services in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts to ensure timely resolution
• Manage security incidents involving vendors and external parties
• Coordinate with an external Security Operations Center (SOC) for security efforts and incident response
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures and controls
• Participate in vulnerability management for internal systems, hardware, URLs, IPs, and manufacturing IT
• Manage internal security processes, such as software security approvals
• Support the management of our web proxy tool
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and practices
• Stay updated on security trends and technologies to proactively address threats

What Will Convince Us

• A degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in IT development or operations, focusing on security operations and infrastructure management (on-premise and cloud)
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and practices
• Experience with VPN, web proxy, and domain monitoring tools
• Experience with Zscaler solutions is a plus
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with vendors and internal teams, and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and align activities with IT security strategies and standards
• A proactive, hands-on mentality with a commitment to continuous improvement in IT infrastructure and system issue resolution
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
