About the company: Our client is an innovative medical device technology company that focuses on the development and manufacturing of innovative sleep physiology medical devices to aid in the diagnosis of respiratory sleep disorders. We are looking for a new Clinical Support Specialist in Spain, within commutable distance of Catalonia.

The Regional Clinical Support Specialist will play a central role in further growth of the market share in Spain, providing special attention to the Catalan region, and assuming responsibility for educating, training, and supporting clients and leads in this territory and beyond. This role requires strong clinical skills, a customer service-oriented approach, and close collaboration with EMEA Clinical Director, Country Manager, and Technical Support Teams. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s clients and leads in understanding and implementing the company’s technology.

Core responsibilities:

  1. Educate clients’ medical staff and leads about the technology and its clinical aspects.
  2. Provide technical and clinical training to staff in accounts.
  3. Provide clients with on-demand support and address clinical queries related to the usage of the technology.
  4. Visit clients on a regular basis to educate and support their staff.
  5. Manage communication and collaboration with local KOLs and professional associations/societies.

Required skills and background:

  1. At least three years’ experience in sleep medicine, as Band 5/6 respiratory physiologist, equivalent level sleep technologist, or Biomedical Engineer.
  2. Residence in Spain.
  3. Background in clinical training (mentoring new staff) – an advantage.
  4. Native Spanish and fluent English.
  5. Ability to deliver a presentation.
  6. Readiness to travel frequently within Spain, predominantly Catalonia (about 50% of the time) and from time to time, overseas (car allowance/company car will be provided).
  7. Self-discipline and ability to manage your own schedule.
