We are currently recruiting for a Cyber Risk Senior Manager, reporting to the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance, to be responsible for leading our cyber security risk team and managing security risk globally across Tunstall.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join Tunstall as we embark on an exciting period of transformation. You will be joining a recently created and growing global Information Security team within Tunstall and play a key part in how we manage security risks moving forward.

This role would be based at our Madrid office working on a hybrid basis. We are flexible on the number of days in the office, and on location and would consider applications from people who can work at one of our other European offices (Malmo, Sweden or Manchester, UK).

What will you be doing in this role?

As our Cyber Risk Senior Manager, you will build and lead the Cyber Security Risk team at Tunstall, ensuring the required capabilities and competencies are built and delivered for all geographies and businesses across our Group. You will be responsible for helping us change and improve the way Tunstall manages security risks, and define, implement and communicate a global cyber risk framework, aligning and influencing across the business to ensure all areas of our group adopt and follow the global framework.

Coordinating, driving the direction and overseeing the team and service providers to ensure that the outcome and achievements of the team are aligned with the overall information security strategy and business objectives of Tunstall are vital to the success of this role.

The Ideal candidate:

To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in IT and technology with proven experience in security risk management roles. You will have had experience in complex, matrix structured, multinational organisations, with a deep understanding of the cyber security market, trends, risk frameworks and security standards and regulations.

With a naturally collaborative style, excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be able to engage and influence stakeholders globally and be an effective people manager. In addition, you will be proactive, with a high attention to detail, taking ownership of tasks, tenacious in your approach to ensure completion of tasks and projects to time and of required quality.

Some of your key tasks will be…
  • Build a highly engaged and trained team with the required capabilities and competencies to achieve the stated mission
  • Coordinate, drive direction and oversee the team and service providers to ensure that the outcome and achievements of the team are aligned with the overall information security strategy and the business objectives
  • Define, implement and communicate a cyber risk framework of global applicability in all countries and businesses
  • Align and influence the business and technology areas in the countries and at Group level to adopt and follow the global framework
  • Define and implement KPIs and metrics to measure and communicate our risk posture consistently
  • Implement a risk registry and define and develop the necessary processes to govern, maintain and follow-up registered cyber risks with the required stakeholders
  • Manage the operational activities of the team, aligning those with the Global Information Security and Tunstall Technology Group budget and plans
  • Report in senior-level forums our risk posture and KPIs and metrics
  • Contribute to create a culture of security by communicating and raising awareness about security risks
  • Keep a constant innovative, challenging and constructive attitude towards continuous improvement
Key skills and experience:
  • Significant experience in IT and technology, and proven demonstrable experience in security risk management roles
  • Previous experience in management positions in complex, multinational organisations
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, trends, risk frameworks and security standards and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage complexity and make decisions with limited information or under uncertainty
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, business, economics, or similar or equivalent experience
  • You must be able to communicate effectively in English (ie CEFR C1)
Desirable skills and experience:
  • Spanish or Swedish language skills
