As a cutting-edge Software Development Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building systems that ensure accurate and timely payments for Amazonians worldwide. Our innovative solutions tackle complex technical challenges on an unprecedented scale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Barcelona hub, working alongside global teams in Seattle and India. You will design, develop, and deliver solutions to ambiguous problems with the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with customers to understand their business needs
• Design innovative solutions addressing customer problems
• Develop comprehensive automated test suites ensuring code quality
• Deploy and operate production solutions with high availability and reliability through best practices

About the Team :

Our diverse team brings together software engineers, technical program management, and software development management, working closely with principal engineers, senior leaders, and product teams worldwide. We partner with operations and HR stakeholders to drive payroll technology at Amazon.

We automate critical processes, such as employee termination, ensuring final payments meet regulatory requirements. Now, we're expanding this solution globally while tackling new challenges.

We aim to build modular components enabling end-to-end automation of payroll processes. This will transform how Amazon manages compensation for its workforce.

Requirements :

• Experience in professional software development
• Designing or architecting new and existing systems
• Programming skills in at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Solid expertise in data structures and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications :

• Full software development life cycle experience
