The Customs Cost & HTS Codes Manager oversees and coordinates all customs cost and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code processes, primarily through the GBS team in India, ensuring compliance with current international regulations.

The role supports global subsidiaries by promoting customs benefits, ensuring accurate HTS code application, and maintaining proper documentation and systems. Responsibilities include guiding local staff, collaborating with cost control teams, preparing for audits, and driving continuous improvement in customs security, business systems, and performance metrics (KPIs).

What You Will Do

• Coordinate Customs cost performance process, including the relationship with the external stakeholders and the other areas of the company
• Support all Customs Audits for the subsidiaries, including the relationship with the customs authority and the other areas of the company
• Coordinate HTS Code process (GBS India team), based on what the international regulatory allows
• Coordinate that follows up of the customs running cost for each entity
• Ensure that technical, managerial and leadership competencies are respected and developed

What We Are Looking For

• Academic background in international trade, customs, business administration, or a related field. Holding a Customs Representative Certificate will be considered a strong asset.
• At least 7 years of customs experience that includes consulting firm practice, Industrial practice, or a combination thereof. Experience in tariff classification will be highly valued.
• Experience in coordinating digital implementations, acting as the liaison between the IT department and the business, is also desirable. Experience with SAP S / 4HANA will be highly appreciated.
• High English language skills are required to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese or French are valued.
