Position: Legal Counsel

The Legal Counsel, as a member of the Legal Team, is responsible for preparing and supervising proceedings and acting as legal support on projects and throughout the process of contract drafting, contract review, and contract negotiations. He / she further represents the interests of our company in third-party environmental approval procedures.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Preparing and supervising proceedings for all areas: development, plants, environment, commercial law - M&A, contracts, regulated sectors, corporate.
  2. Work on efficiency improvement, new power plant construction projects in interdisciplinary teams and managing the company's operating assets from a legal point of view.
  3. Responsible for the legal support of national and international projects (mainly photovoltaic and wind).
  4. Take a leading role in representing the interests of our company in third-party approval procedures.
  5. Act as the interface to external advisors.
  6. Prepare documents that serve as a basis for decision-making for the management.
  7. Support the team in contract drafting, contract review, and contract negotiation, as well as any other legal topic.
  8. Review potential business risks and establish methods to mitigate them and/or avoid them.

Your profile:

  1. Qualified Lawyer with a Master's degree in Law.
  2. More than 5 years of professional work experience in legal departments within the renewable sector.
  3. Good knowledge of regulated sectors, legislation applicable to the development of renewable energy projects, contract, commercial, and administrative law.
  4. Experience with public authority procedures.
  5. Excellent knowledge of MS Office skills and very good linguistic skills.
