YOUR JOB:

  • We are expanding the Life & Protection Solutions team. Your role will include specialized tasks such as processing incoming insurance claims (travel, temporary working incapacity), being the first point of contact for clients' insurance policyholders, and managing data reporting to internal and external parties.
  • You will be supported by a people manager, a technical expert, and fellow team members.

Daily tasks include:

  • Assessing and processing incoming claims based on policy conditions, acting as the hub between medical advisors, claimants, HR departments, etc., ensuring claims are handled thoroughly and correctly.
  • Managing working incapacity overviews for insured organizations, cultivating professional relationships, and handling files to serve the best interests of claimants and clients.
  • Accurately filling out claim data and reporting to necessary parties such as finance departments and client managers.
  • Answering policy-related questions via email and phone in multiple languages.

Skills and Knowledge Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, insurance, communication, or equivalent experience.
  • Good numeracy skills and proficient communication abilities.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages like Dutch or French are a bonus.
  • Previous experience with non-medical claims (e.g., life or travel insurance) is advantageous.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, customer-centric, responsible, results-oriented, analytical.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
