Job Description

Directly reporting to the Manager of Customer Project Management and cooperating with a team of highly skilled engineers, you will be responsible for the execution of the most advanced process solutions for TOMRA FOOD’s largest and most important customers. This will involve the set-up, implementation, and monitoring of a structured stage gate process, where you will cooperate at 360 degrees with our customers, from the initial, pre-sale interactions to the final commissioning of TOMRA’s solutions, guaranteeing them peace of mind. At the same time, you will lead the cooperation with TOMRA internal stakeholders, defining their required input, and with 3rd parties, coordinating interactions, so that standards and deadlines are respected.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage TOMRA Food projects from quotation through commissioning, including equipment and peripherals
  • Support sales with accurate project costing and risk assessment
  • Ensure smooth project handover to the Service Organisation upon completion
  • Develop technical expertise to assist Sales in creating optimal customer solutions
  • Communicate customer design requirements to the project team to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain effective relationships with 3rd party vendors and assist in supplier negotiations
  • Control project budgets and manage change orders
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics to maintain project schedules
  • Align projects with organizational objectives
  • Conduct regular customer visits for hands-on project management
Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor or Masters in an applicable engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years industry experience in a design/project related role. Experience in the food industry, or similar, is beneficial but not essential.
  • A keen eye and appreciation for detail.
  • Customer focused
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also remotely with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proven problem-solving ability.
