Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Data 360. You will configure and deploy real-time data solutions inside customer environments, writing SQL, Python, and Apex to enable ingestion, harmonization, identity, insights, activation, and retrieval.

You will work in a delivery team with architects, engineers, and customer tech teams, tackling production rollouts, testing, and stabilization. A hands-on data engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/data engineering or technical implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data 360 or comparable enterprise data platform.
• Experience building data pipelines and integrations across ingestion, modeling, and activation.
• Proficient in SQL; able to build and optimize multi-table queries.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines and ingestion processes in customer environments.
• Implement data harmonization and identity resolution across sources.
• Develop and maintain RAG, vector search, and agent data integration layers.
• Design secure, scalable data integration patterns for enterprise apps.
