Formación

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will join our ERP team within our Enterprise Technology practice, serving end-to-end ERP transformation for our priority clients. You will be embedded in teams consisting of other driven and curious Bain staff, working alongside consultants, tech experts (e.g., Cloud, Architecture), design experts, and software developers. With this uniquely diverse group, you will serve leading companies in every industry, helping them to define and implement S / 4 HANA business transformations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Mission

  • Transform traditional Record to Report / finance processes in SAP S / 4HANA defining best practices for the end-state, interim phases, and transition strategies.
  • Drive commercial excellence across finance, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and business impact.
  • Develop and maintain strong senior client relationships, guiding them on business value drivers and challenging their processes.

Essential functions

  • Lead the design of end-to-end R2R processes in the context of an SAP S / 4HANA business transformation.
  • Optimize financial processes, including general ledger; intercompany accounting, asset accounting, reconciliations, period close, cash and liquidity management, and reporting.
  • Ensure process design aligns with global standards, local statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Define R2R E2E test scenario definitions that serve as the basis for System integration testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Define key activities to prepare deployment and business cutover prior to transformation go-lives.

ABOUT YOU

  • 15+ years of functional expertise paired with good technology knowledge.
  • At least 7 years of experience in R2R process optimization in large scale ERP implementations (SAP S / 4).
  • Extensive experience in process design and transformation across various functions, including Corporate Finance, BU Finance, and Finance shared-services.
  • Deep expertise in finance processes including Finance & Controlling, General Ledger, Asset accounting, Financial closing / period-end close, financial reporting, standard costing, chart of accounts, trade spend accounts, intercompany transactions / processes.
  • Ability to describe how best-in-class / standard processes look in the industry (and supported out of the box by SAP S / 4 system and other best-of-breed finance systems) and where other companies do customize their processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex business scenarios.
  • Very strong content ownership, independently driving work planning and prioritization, in-time content creation, and sparring with the broader Bain team.
  • Ability to understand and keep track of foundational deliverables in large-scale ERP implementations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams. Willing to coach more junior team members on content topics.
  • Hands-on mentality, being able to create “ready to use” PPT slides of good quality.
