About the role

We are seeking Business Analysts with at least 1 year of experience in implementing IT solutions in life science companies. Your main task will be to translate our pharma customers' business needs into user stories and technology and to participate in implementation projects for high profile clients - from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate has successfully completed the first IT projects and is ready to specialize in delivering complex projects.

The position is placed in the Data and Analytics practice area within BASE, which combines highly specialized business knowledge of the pharma commercial domain with in-depth technology expertise to maximize the value creation from the digital platform of our clients.

We offer this position in Barcelona or Madrid, Spain.

What makes you the best person for this job?

As a minimum, we expect you to have 1 year of experience as an IT Business Analyst within life science, specifically :

1. Deep hands-on understanding of the commercial processes in life science companies.
2. Successful track record of participating in IT projects in a life science company.
3. Proven experience in data visualization tools : Tableau (preferred), Power BI or similar.
4. Understanding of relational databases concepts and big data technologies.
5. Problem solving and critical thinking mindset to support our clients' analytics challenges and ambition to become data driven companies.
6. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
7. Ability to structure tasks and sense of details.
8. Ability to run workshops, documentation & customer alignments in English. French and German are a high plus!
9. Strong Team spirit to contribute to project success as a great Team player.

On top of this, you have the following competences :

1. A BSc or MSc from a leading university in e.g., computer science, information technology, or engineering or similar experience.
2. Practical experience with agile and waterfall project management.
3. Proven experience with implementing cloud solutions.
4. Understanding of GxP is a plus.
5. Knowledge of Veeva, IQVIA and / or Salesforce solutions is a plus.
6. Ability to structure and present complex situations to a set of various stakeholders including executive levels.
