We are seeking an experienced Customer Account Manager to join our CAS Airports team, focusing on the Spanish and southern European regions. The successful candidate will generate new business opportunities within their designated accounts and support new business initiatives in the region. This key role will drive business development for European Airports, reporting to the Head of Sales & Account Management Europe Airport Solutions.

The role requires developing and executing strategies for profitable growth by identifying potential opportunities within new and existing clients, building and maintaining key relationships, and researching prospects to create a pipeline of targeted opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative self-starter who enjoys autonomy and achieving results, capable of identifying and seizing opportunities across long sales cycles. They should possess a technical mindset, be able to sell complex solutions, and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior aviation executives and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Serving as the single point of contact for airport and airline commercial queries.
  2. Maintaining relationships with airport and airline contacts in collaboration with the Site Manager.
  3. Attending customer meetings.
  4. Identifying, qualifying, and maximizing new business opportunities for ARINC products and services within designated accounts.
  5. Building rapport with key decision-makers and leading business development efforts.
  6. Developing and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline in Salesforce.
  7. Creating strategic capture plans and understanding client needs.
  8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and drive sales growth.
  9. Delivering presentations, product demos, reports, and gathering market and customer feedback.
  10. Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  11. Positioning product offerings to maximize revenue.
  12. Responding to proposals and developing presentations for customers.
  13. Forecasting sales for the territory.
  14. Managing channels to increase product awareness and education.

Basic qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation industry selling technology solutions and services. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with European aviation markets, a proactive approach to business development, successful sales experience within IT or aviation, and proficiency in Spanish, French, or other European languages. The candidate should be based in Spain (preferably Madrid or Barcelona), capable of traveling 50-70% of the time, and able to operate effectively in an international environment.
