Six Senses Ibiza invites a hardworking Cook Trainee to rotate through our kitchens, embracing farm-to-table prep and sustainable practices across Italian-Mediterranean, Latin American and Mediterranean concepts.

You will learn from our senior chefs, focus on local sourcing, high hygiene standards, and guest-focused service. The internship includes shared accommodation, training under the Six Senses Mission Wellness program, and dining with our diverse outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen environments via internships, part-time roles, or culinary training.
• Experience with Mediterranean cuisines and hands-on training in food prep.
• Interest in sustainable cooking and reducing waste.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Support farm-to-table prep using fresh, local products.
• Learn to prepare and present dishes across cuisines.
• Minimize waste and follow eco-friendly kitchen practices.
• Gain experience in Italian-Mediterranean, Latin American and Mediterranean cuisines.
• Maintain high hygiene standards in food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
• Work with senior chefs to learn techniques and operations.
• Assist in crafting dishes for outlets like Market, Orchard, La Plaza, Fogons, and Beach Caves.
• Prepare meals for guest room service.
• Adapt to guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Build knowledge in diverse cuisines, sustainability, and timing.
