To support our growth and structure our technological vision, at Netenders, we are looking for an experienced Hands-on CTO who can combine leadership, technical expertise, and project management to optimize our platform and accelerate our strategic developments.

As Hands-On CTO, you will be responsible for:

1. Tech Team management and structuring
2. Leading and developing the team of developers.
3. Structuring development processes and improving working methodologies.
4. Prioritizing and organizing sprints based on business needs.
5. Website performance optimization, including loading speed and Core Web Vitals.
6. Strengthening the platform’s scalability and security.
7. Working on database and API optimization.

Development & personalization of the User Experience:

1. Deploying advanced personalization solutions (product recommendations, A / B testing).
2. Improving UX / UI to streamline the customer journey and optimize conversion rates.
3. Participating in the redesign and optimization of the search engine and navigation.
4. Overseeing the development and optimization of the mobile application.
5. Ensuring a smooth and efficient experience between the app and the website.
6. Monitoring mobile performance indicators and optimizing user adoption.

Technological vision & strategic project management:

1. Driving the product roadmap in collaboration with business teams.
2. Defining and tracking technical and business KPIs to measure the impact of changes.
3. Participating in strategic decisions in collaboration with management.

Minimum Requirements

1. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within e-commerce.
2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of modern web architectures.
3. Experience in scalability and web performance optimization.
4. Experience in tech team management and project management.
5. Strong understanding of UX / UI challenges and conversion optimization.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly and efficiently.
7. Experience in mobile app development and optimization, as well as in advanced personalization solutions (AI, machine learning, product recommendations) is a plus.

2. Highly organized, capable of structuring the team and priorities effectively.
3. A strong communicator, comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical profiles.
