The “SIDE PROJECT” you are looking for :

At Nexa Ventures, we present proven and replicable business ideas in Spain and/or Latin America, offer specialized Venture Capital training, and identify founders and pre-seed investment opportunities.

We do all this through our Newsletter, Edtech platform, and startup identification software. Additionally, we have an investment vehicle in which we invest in startups as Business Angels.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to help us elevate our startup identification platform from a simple MVP built with Python to a leading SaaS platform in the Fintech sector.

As a Co-Founder & CTO, You Will Be Responsible For :

• Developing both front-end and back-end software in collaboration with the co-founders.
• Analyzing problematic situations and providing solutions to ensure company growth and sustainability.
• Designing commercial, product, and growth strategies.
• Building trust with key partners and stakeholders.
• Maintaining deep knowledge of the market and industry.

Requirements

• Extremely curious and passionate about technology and business.
• Strong Full Stack Development Skills.
• Proven experience in taking projects from 0 to 1 and being hands-on.
• Experience working in startups, scale-ups, VC, or similar environments.
• Bonus: experience developing fintech products.
• Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset, capable of solving complex problems with limited resources.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, uncertain environment.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills in Catalan, Spanish, and English.
