The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechatronic systems, providing on-site support and training while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will possess a CFGS in mechatronics, possess relevant experience, and be ready to travel frequently.

Job Title : Field Service Technician - Mechatronics

Syntegon Telstar S.R.U, a global company within the Syntegon group, specializes in GMP consulting, engineering, construction, and process equipment for the life sciences sector, including pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, cosmetics, veterinary, and food industries. We also provide solutions involving vacuum and high vacuum technologies for traditional and high-tech industries, energy, aerospace, and scientific research.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechatronic systems and equipment on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems.
• Analyze system data and performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including service reports and user manuals.
• Stay updated on the latest mechatronic technologies and industry trends.

Candidate Profile

• CFGS in mechatronics, electromechanics, or similar, with mechanical adjustment skills and electronics knowledge.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, and preventive / corrective maintenance of aseptic liquid filling and packaging equipment for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of or experience with complete systems for washing, sterilization, filling, vial capping, and other formats, as well as containment systems (LAF, RABS, Isolators) and process equipment load / unload systems like lyophilizers.
• Languages : Spanish, English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Additional Information

• Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally, approximately 40-50% of the time.
