The role of an HR Compliance Specialist is crucial in ensuring that an organization's practices are aligned with regulatory requirements. This position involves providing operational support to the Compliance department, working closely with senior management and industry experts.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Compliance Diary Management : The HR Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing the Compliance Diary, which includes scheduling regulatory reporting, registrations, and meetings with the Board and Senior Management.
  • Meeting Coordination : Coordinating compliance-related meetings and maintaining minutes is another critical aspect of this role.
  • Training and Development : Organizing mandatory and ongoing training, drafting training materials in collaboration with compliance staff, is essential for ensuring that employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and Monitoring : Researching new product areas, compliance solutions, and country-specific regulations in coordination with internal teams is vital for staying up-to-date with changing regulatory landscapes.
  • Regulatory Updates : Drafting reports on regulatory and legal updates, as well as preparing presentations on compliance topics, are key responsibilities of the HR Compliance Specialist.
  • Policy Documentation : Managing policy documentation and assisting with policy updates is also a critical aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and basic knowledge of AML, CTF, Sanctions, and familiarity with FATF guidelines or regional equivalents.
