Job summary

Axpo Group is seeking a capable Project Manager to coordinate end-to-end IT delivery for Credit Risk in Madrid. You will align stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Operations, and IT to enable timely, high-quality decisions and outcomes.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in financial services or energy trading, strong communication skills, and a disciplined approach to risk and priorities. English is essential; Spanish/German are a plus. Hybrid work with Madrid offices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in credit risk or financial services.
• Clear, structured communicator with stakeholder alignment.
• Delivery-focused with disciplined risk management.
• Experience with Databricks, Python, or SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across Trading, Risk, Operations, IT, and external vendors.
• Governance via status reports, RAID management, decision tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Gather and analyse business requirements; translate into functional specs and acceptance criteria.
• Plan IT delivery for Credit Risk: define scope, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Coordinate credit risk testing, support release readiness, and ensure smooth transition to operations.
• Lead iterative, agile delivery from implementation to go-live into production.
