Axpo Group is seeking a capable Project Manager to coordinate end-to-end IT delivery for Credit Risk in Madrid. You will align stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Operations, and IT to enable timely, high-quality decisions and outcomes.
The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in financial services or energy trading, strong communication skills, and a disciplined approach to risk and priorities. English is essential; Spanish/German are a plus. Hybrid work with Madrid offices.

Coordinate delivery across Trading, Risk, Operations, IT, and external vendors, ensuring clear ownership and effective collaboration
Ensure effective project governance through status reporting, RAID management, decision tracking, and stakeholder communication
Gather and analyse business requirements, facilitating workshops and translating needs into clear functional specifications and acceptance criteria
Plan and manage project delivery on the IT side for Credit Risk, defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and resources
Coordinate credit risk testing activities, support release readiness, and ensure a smooth transition to operations after delivery
Lead and coordinate the iterative, agile delivery process from implementation and testing through user acceptance testing and go-live into production
A university degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent professional experience
3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in Credit Risk, financial services, energy trading, or similarly complex environments
A clear and structured communicator with strong stakeholder alignment and decision-making skills
Collaborative and trustworthy, building relationships across teams and functions
Highly organised, analytical, and delivery-focused, with a disciplined approach to managing risks and priorities
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; German or Spanish is a plus
Ideally, experience with Databricks, Python, and SQL to support testing with business owners and users
