About the Team

Fitch's European Structured Finance team maintains existing ratings and assigns ratings to new structured finance transactions.

• We are seeking a Senior Analyst level Credit Analyst to join the European Structured Finance team.
• The successful candidate will be part of a team rating transactions backed by mortgage loans, consumer loans, and/or corporate loans, including leveraged loan CLOs.
• The team analyzes transactions in line with Fitch's rating criteria and provides high-quality credit opinions to investors and market participants.

How You'll Make an Impact :

• Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modeling.
• Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers.
• Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
• Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.

You May be a Good Fit if :

• You are highly motivated and thrive in demanding roles.
• You have some prior experience in finance.
• Knowledge of securitization structures, especially CLOs, is beneficial.
• You are highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skills.
• The role involves analyzing legal transaction documents; no legal background is required, but you should be able to review legal contracts from a credit risk perspective.
