We're Camping, a small-but-mighty brand storytelling & video agency based in Barcelona, helping B2B tech companies transform from 'boring' to heartfelt through brand & video storytelling.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a freelancer, part-time or full-time Account Manager to help us continue scaling while a team member is going on a maternity leave.

The role

We're seeking a Freelance Creative Strategist to join our team on an ongoing, project-by-project basis. Your core responsibility will be to lead and execute strategy development for our campaigns and projects , particularly those involving video storytelling for B2B tech clients. While our immediate need is for freelance collaboration, there's potential for this role to evolve as our needs grow.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development : Lead the research, analysis, and development of innovative creative strategies for various campaigns and video projects.
  • Briefing & Conceptualization : Translate client objectives and insights into clear, actionable creative briefs that inspire our production teams.
  • Market & Audience Insights : Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitor landscapes to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with our internal teams (Creative Director, Video Producers, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution.
  • Presentation : Articulate and present strategic concepts to internal teams and, when needed, directly to clients.
  • Performance Analysis (Optional) : Contribute to analyzing campaign performance data to refine future strategies.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Creative Strategist, preferably within an agency setting or working with B2B tech clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive strategies for diverse campaigns and content formats (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, product launches).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into compelling narratives and actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Please refrain from applying if you do not possess an excellent English level, as it is a core requirement and we will be testing for it.

The Perfect Fit Will Also Have

  • Specific experience with B2B SaaS scaleups.
  • A deep understanding of video content strategy and its role in the marketing funnel.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and campaign measurement.
  • Interest in leveraging AI for strategic research and insights.
  • You're a strategic thinker who loves dissecting challenges and unearthing compelling insights.
  • You're proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a freelance capacity.
  • You're passionate about the intersection of brand storytelling, video, and business objectives.
  • You thrive on turning complex information into simple, powerful strategic frameworks.

Location

This is a remote freelance position, but we prefer collaborators who are in a similar time zone or willing to adapt for effective collaboration. Proximity to Barcelona is a plus for occasional in-person meetings, but not required.

Working model

  • This is a freelance collaboration, with engagement on a project-by-project basis.
  • We'll work closely to define project scopes, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Flexible working hours are a given, as we trust you to manage your schedule effectively.
