Internal Communication and Social Media Specialist

The role of the Internal Communication and Social Media Specialist is pivotal in shaping and enhancing our organization's internal communication strategies. This position focuses on creating and implementing effective internal communication plans to share relevant updates about our business, people, and culture, fostering a strong sense of community and alignment among employees.

The Specialist will elevate our employer brand by designing bold and engaging campaigns that showcase us as an exceptional place to work. Through strategic management of our social media channels, the Specialist will connect internal and external narratives, amplifying our voice, strengthening our reputation, and attracting top-tier talent.

This role thrives on collaboration with key stakeholders, including Human Resources, Corporate Communication, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is a creative strategist and compelling storyteller, passionate about driving our mission to attract and retain top talent while building a vibrant internal culture and a standout employer brand.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent and Internal Communication to design, develop, and execute a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Craft and deliver high-quality internal communication materials, including messages, initiatives, digital content, campaigns, and audiovisuals, ensuring they drive employee engagement, foster alignment, and reflect our business culture. Adapt tone and style appropriately to resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Ensure and maintain consistency in internal communication messages and content across all channels, departments, and organizational levels, ensuring alignment with Corporate Communications & Marketing strategies.
  • Oversee and manage the intranet implementation by liaising with external providers, the IT department, internal clients, and site representatives. Develop and maintain engaging, informative, and user-centric content to meet organizational needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement impactful internal events and content that highlight our business culture, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, employee experience, and professional development opportunities.
  • Develop professional videos and presentations to support organizational events and internal communication channels.
  • Ensure the quality and contextual relevance of all content in English, Spanish, and German, adapting messages to suit the intended audience.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams, fostering strong collaborative relationships with Corporate Communications & Marketing.
  • Manage and monitor our social media presence by creating engaging posts, staying informed of social media trends and best practices, as well as ensuring alignment with the employer branding and communication goals.

Requirements :

  • Proven working experience of 7+ years in internal communication and corporate communication positions in international companies, designing and implementing communication plans and campaigns in support of business strategy, employer branding, DEI and business culture, actively engaging internal employees on a global company-wide basis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Advertising and Public Affairs or Marketing.
  • Postgraduate studies in Internal Communication, Digital Marketing or similar.
  • Solid experience collaborating with different stakeholders and internal clients.
  • Experience in creating digital contents, videos, newsletters, and presentations, as well as managing intranets, webs, and social media.
  • Demonstrated previous experience in writing and editing communication contents.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is a must (spoken and written - C1). German would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of internal communication processes and social media managing.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Photoshop, and software tools for editing (photo / video / text).
