Descripción del empleo

At Melt Group, we are looking for an HSE Manager for a leading company in the food industry based in Valencia. This professional will report to the Plant Director and the corporate function outside of Spain and will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and implementing all actions related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Environment, and Energy Management in the production plant.

Mission :

1. Design and implement the plant's safety culture plan.
2. Lead the update and standardization of procedures, risk assessments, and safety measures.
3. Develop and implement solutions to improve plant safety.
4. Define and evaluate the Occupational Health and Safety Plan.
5. Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to OHS.
6. Maintain communication with the Health and Safety Mutual, external service providers, the Labor Inspection, and other relevant agencies.
7. Lead the Safety and Health Committee of the plant.
8. Manage environmental initiatives and energy efficiency in the plant, implementing measures that optimize resources and minimize environmental impact.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE certifications, such as ISO 45001 (OHSAS), ISO 14001, and others.

Requirements :

1. Mandatory residence in the Valencian Community.
2. University degree and/or Master’s in Occupational Health and Safety, with the three specialties.
3. 5 to 7 years of experience in similar roles within industrial environments.
4. Knowledge and experience in managing safety, environmental, and energy management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).
5. Leadership skills, results orientation, and teamwork.
6. High level of English.
