Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the business in a true "IT as a Service" environment; provide resilient, best-in-class, cost-efficient IT Services to all ELEs in your Zone.
- Collaborate with the Regional IT Infra Director to build and run IT Infra services for all ELEs in your Zone.
- Lead the IT transformation program to segregate IT Infra assets and isolate IT Solutions in your Zone.
- Implement IT governance processes (IT Service Management) for your Zone.
- Engage with the IT Director to define the IT strategy for the zone; manage the annual IT budget; support the Zone Business Leader with enrolling new companies.
- Implement a true "IT as a Service" model for IT Infra services; act as a Managed IT Service Provider; build a network and foster relationships with key business leaders.
- Monitor and report on IT service quality and customer satisfaction against KPIs and SLAs.
- Build and manage your IT team across multiple countries/ELEs; cooperate with Regional IT Infra/Governance teams; ensure consistency, collaboration, and share best practices.
- Develop and provide a portfolio of IT Business Services aligned with business needs; plan and manage the Zone IT team to meet SLA performance targets.
IT Infra & Security
- Define IT Infrastructure strategy, priorities, and roadmap in collaboration with Zone Business Leader and Regional IT Infra Director.
- Steer the Zone IT Infra team to provide top-tier IT services; oversee IT Infrastructure projects within budget, scope, and timeline.
- Ensure reliable operations of the segregated Zone infrastructure, supporting the transformation of legacy infrastructure into a segregated landscape.
- Implement and ensure adherence to Group/Regional IT (Infra and Security) standards.
- Monitor operational activities and periodically audit IT Infra & Security postures, working with the Group IT 3rd line of defense team.
IT Solutions
- Collaborate with the Zone Business Leader to define IT Solutions strategy, priorities, and roadmap.
- Lead the Zone IT Solutions team to deliver high-quality IT services; manage IT Solutions projects within budget and schedule.
- Subscribe to shared IT Solutions and provide support for instantiated solutions.
- Adhere to Group IT Solutions standards.
IT Governance & Transformation Program
- Lead the transformation program to re-architect IT Infrastructure and Solutions for your Zone.
- Implement standardized IT cost management, project management, and service management practices across all ELEs in your Zone.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; MBA is desirable but not required.
- Certifications: PMI or equivalent, ITIL (PMP & ITIL Foundations mandatory), Scrum, COBIT, TOGAF preferred.
- 5-10 years of project/program management experience in an IT environment, preferably in industrial or process-driven settings, ideally in the laboratory industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple teams and reporting lines; expertise in product strategy, portfolio management, and IT Service Management.
- Strong financial skills; ability to develop budgets and control costs.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, interpersonal skills, and resilience.
- Fluent in English; proficient with tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and Gantt charts.
- Experience with SCRUM, CMMi, and IT Service Management Systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Ability to analyze large datasets for executive reporting.
