Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsibly conduct cost estimates for investment projects in all phases.
2. Create the foundation for project budgets and sustainably influence CAPEX efficiency.
3. Develop and implement standards, instructions, and tools for cost estimates.
4. Act as a team member in our global Project Controls Community.
5. Proactively share your expertise and drive continuous process improvements.
6. Maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders and support professional cost estimation initiatives.
7. Capture as-built information for future cost estimates and enter it into databases.
8. Work closely with our Business Entities to evaluate strategic alternatives.

Requirements :

1. University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Several years of professional experience as a Cost Estimator, Proposal Manager, or Field Supervisor in the construction of chemical or large-scale industrial plants.
3. Knowledge of project management methodologies (FEL, EPC, etc.).
4. Proven on-site experience and ability to work under pressure in demanding project situations.
5. Familiarity with international cost estimating standards (e.g., AACEI).
6. Expertise in relevant IT tools (Cleopatra, SAP, Oracle, SQL, Python, Tableau).
7. Ability to integrate large amounts of data from multiple sources.
8. Fluent Spanish and English (German is a plus).
9. Willingness and ability to travel internationally for business.
