As Tax Manager at Stark Future, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the company’s global tax strategy, ensuring full compliance across multiple jurisdictions while driving fiscal efficiency and contributing to sustainable business growth. This is a key cross-functional role involving direct collaboration with local tax advisors, the Legal and Finance teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a global tax strategy aligned with Stark Future’s ESG vision and long-term business objectives.
- Manage and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, particularly across the EU, United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of local tax advisors, ensuring performance, accuracy, and alignment with internal standards.
- Identify tax optimization opportunities and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring ethical and sustainable compliance.
- Lead tax audits, inspections, and due diligence processes in the context of corporate operations.
- Oversee the application of tax withholdings, VAT / GST, transfer pricing policies, indirect tax, and innovation-related tax incentives.
- Provide strategic tax guidance for commercial contracts, international structures, and M&A projects, in partnership with the Legal team.
- Support the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, financial closings, and tax reporting.
- Monitor global tax developments and regulatory changes, proactively proposing updates to the tax framework.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, reports, and documentation in all relevant jurisdictions.
Performance Criteria
The performance of the Tax Manager will be assessed annually based on the following key indicators:
- Fiscal Efficiency: Net tax savings achieved (as a % of EBITDA), without generating undue legal or reputational risk.
- Regulatory Compliance: Zero significant penalties or sanctions for tax non-compliance in key jurisdictions.
- Strategic Projects Support: Effective tax support in restructurings, M&A operations, or new market entries, with positive feedback from Legal and Finance.
- Audits & Inspections: Successful resolution of tax audits or inspections with optimal response times and favorable outcomes.
- Proactive Monitoring: Timely and strategic implementation of relevant tax and regulatory changes.

- 5+ years of experience in international taxation, ideally within a multinational group or a Big Four environment.
- Deep technical expertise in global tax structures, transfer pricing, double taxation treaties, fiscal compliance, and BEPS reporting.
- Proven ability to coordinate with local tax providers across multiple regions.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the EU, US-Canada, and Australia-New Zealand.
- Prior experience in the automotive or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams.
- Understanding of tax incentives for innovation, R&D, and sustainability (e.g., Patent Box, R&D deductions).
- Fluent English (C1 / C2 level) is a must; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and tax management tools.
