TITLE : Corporate IT Project Manager

DEPARTMENT : Corporate IT

LOCATION : Madrid, Spain

REPORTING TO : Chief Information Security Officer

ROLE TYPE : Hybrid, Full time

Overview of the Team

IPC Corporate IT covers multiple areas of responsibility from Desktop Support to Systems Support. Corporate IT support all the Information Technology that enables the business.

Role Overview

The Corp IT Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of programs and projects through an IT project management process in close collaboration with business partners, team members and various IT functions. This individual will assume end-to-end accountability for multiple concurrent projects and large programs consisting of multiple projects.

The preferred applicant will be an Information Technology professional with extensive knowledge of the IT industry. A working understanding of the phases and process for successful delivery of end-to-end Corporate IT solutions is a must. These phases include all pre & post project delivery items – Requirements Gathering, 3rd party vendor / technology / software / application evaluation, Budgeting, Project Plan creation and management, weekly stakeholder meetings, Internal Business Partner / Client interaction and coordination, Status communications, Problem resolution, Executive summary, Risk Assessment, testing, Go-live / migration services, user education and communication, support knowledge transfer, etc.

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role :

  • 5 Years’ Experience in Managing IT and or Software Projects.
  • Practical Knowledge of IT Project Management especially both Infrastructure and Software Deployments.
  • Broad understanding of Corp IT Services (Infrastructure, Applications and technology)
  • Excellent project management experience to be able to manage both IT and general projects
  • Experience in delivering significant projects within budget and on time.
  • PMP or other project management certification will be given additional consideration
  • Technical Certifications will be given additional consideration

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • Specific Experience in 3rd Party Enterprise Software (A PLUS)
  • Project Management Professional Certification (A PLUS)
  • Experience in the Financial Industry (A PLUS)
  • Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
  • Deep Understanding of basic IT Infrastructure, IT Systems, and IT Applications Software delivery.
  • High level awareness of Information Security
  • Ability to coordinate, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users
  • Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary
  • Outstanding customer service skills.

Additional Information :
