In Sateliot we are looking for a Corporate IT Specialist, willing to face the challenges of a fast-growing space telecom startup!

Who we are

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.

In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last-generation nanosatellites at low altitudes that act as mobile towers.

Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.

Your mission

As a Corporate IT Specialist, you will be the primary technical support expert, ensuring seamless operation of all employee devices and IT services. Your focus will be on helping colleagues resolve technical issues, managing user access, and maintaining company devices and IT tools. You will take ownership of IT support, automation, and security, ensuring a productive and secure work environment.

Your main functions

1. Helpdesk & User Support
   • Act as the primary contact for internal IT issues, supporting Windows and macOS users.
   • Manage Jira-based ticketing, ensuring prompt resolution and high user satisfaction.
   • Use our RMM SaaS for remote troubleshooting and device management.
   • Provide training and guidance on IT best practices.
2. Hardware & Device Management
   • Configure, deploy, and maintain company devices, including PCs, Macs, printers, and peripherals.
   • Manage inventory, procurement, and device lifecycle.
   • Define hardware requirements in collaboration with other teams.
   • Ensure seamless video conferencing and meeting room setups.
3. SaaS Administration & Automation
   • Administer and optimize Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Slack, and Wrike for user management and security.
   • Automate IT processes using PowerShell and Shell scripting to improve efficiency.
   • Use Terraform for automating SaaS platform configurations.
4. Network & Security Management
   • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot corporate Ubiquiti networks, ensuring stability and security.
   • Maintain structured cabling and technical rooms to support a reliable IT environment.
   • Oversee firewalls, endpoint security, and compliance policies.
5. Identity & Access Management
   • Manage Google Directory Sync, ensuring accurate user provisioning and group policies.
   • Integrate Google Directory Sync as an identity provider for corporate systems and services.
   • Implement best practices for secure access control across physical offices and IT systems.
6. Process Optimization & Project Involvement
   • Develop IT policies, document procedures, and establish best practices.
   • Identify and implement efficiency improvements through automation and system upgrades.
   • Work with the IT Manager and Project Managers on internal IT initiatives.
   • Provide mentorship to interns when needed, focusing on high-impact projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an IT Corporate role.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience with RMM, MDM, Jira, and endpoint security solutions.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, a plus for Shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a proactive approach to IT challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Familiarity with Terraform for SaaS automation.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Apple Certified Support Professional.
