A growing international company in the logistics and supply chain sector is looking for a Corporate Accountant specialized in Fixed Assets to join its expanding finance team in Barcelona. This is a strategic role managing fixed assets accounting across multiple European markets.

You’ll play a key part in overseeing the full asset lifecycle — from capitalization to retirement — and ensuring compliance with international standards. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and internal audit.

Key Responsibilities

️ Manage accounting operations related to fixed assets across Europe
️ Maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger and ensure timely, accurate entries
️ Perform monthly reconciliations of fixed asset accounts
️ Oversee asset capitalization and retirement processes
️ Support audits by preparing relevant documentation
️ Assist with intercompany transactions and internal financial loans
️ Partner with teams to track capital projects and cost allocation
️ Contribute to CapEx budgeting and forecasting
️ Report to senior finance stakeholders on asset-related matters

️ 4–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 focused on fixed assets
️ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
️ Experience in an international, preferably US-based, corporate environment
️ Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
️ Fluent English (written and spoken) – essential
️ Basic Spanish; other European languages are a plus (e.g., Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, German)
️ SAP or ERP system knowledge is highly valued
️ Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive
