Job Opportunity at Aqualia: BIM Coordinator

Role Description

We are looking to hire a BIM Coordinator within the IT department, specifically in the BIM-Reality Capture sub-department. Main responsibilities include:

  • Coordination, reporting, and support in analyzing and monitoring BIM execution work across all project phases.
  • Assisting and coordinating key tasks to promote BIM methodology deployment using BIM models.
  • Supporting training across various company departments.
  • Managing BIM implementation in collaboration with BIM Managers according to ISO 19650 standards.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to initial BIM standards across projects, including quality control (parametric-geometric analysis) and information workflows.
  • Coordinating software/hardware analysis for preparing deliverables in native and open formats, based on project requirements.
  • Supporting documentation related to geometric models.
  • Managing resources involved throughout project lifecycle phases, leading and supervising internal and external teams.
  • Reporting project statuses to responsible parties.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Technical or Higher), or related fields.
  • Additional BIM-related training.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role; experience in water cycle management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks, Plant3D, Civil3D, ReCap, ACC) and file management tools (IFC-BCF).
  • Knowledge of programming (Dynamo, Python), SYNCHRO, Presto, CDE environments (Thinkproject), and point cloud technologies (drones, laser scanning) is desirable.
  • Experience in project and team management, decision-making, and leadership.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Availability for occasional national and international travel.
