Job summary

Allianz Technology is offering a Controlling Intern position for Central Functions in Barcelona. The role provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning within a tech-driven environment. You will work closely with the Controlling team to support financial processes and projects that enhance central functions.

The internship spans 6 months with a hybrid work model. You will gain exposure to budgets, forecasts, and month-end activities while collaborating

About the Job

As a Controlling Intern for Central Functions at Allianz Technology, you will gain hands‑on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning within a tech‑driven environment. You will work closely with our Controlling team to support various financial processes and projects that enhance the effectiveness of our central functions.

What you do

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support the month‑end and other periodic closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances relevant to technology operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and consolidate financial information.
• Provide administrative support to the Controlling team as needed.

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Interest in technology and its impact on financial processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
