Formación

  • Experiencia en la interpretación y análisis de estados financieros.

We are looking for a passionate, proactive and experienced accountant to join us to develop new alternatives for by-product valorization through fermentation.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

The following qualifications will be required:

  • Business Management (ADE), Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
  • Advanced fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or other ERP systems.
  • Experience with team leadership and project management.
  • Passion for science and new technologies.
  • Attitude, desire to learn and assume responsibilities.

Role and Responsibilities

You will work directly with MOA’s CFO. The tasks to develop will be:

  • Accounting: all tasks corresponding to accounting.
  • Compile and analyze financial statements (Invoice registration, payment or refund management, issuing invoices, depreciation and activations).
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting.
  • Work closely with external collaborators (Tax accountant, Auditor).
  • Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs (i.e. KPIs and board reporting).
  • Grants: collaborating in the preparation of grants for submission (budget, economic proposals, etc.).
  • Preparing expense justifications to present to Grant Grantor.
  • Experience in presenting and justifying grants.
  • Customer Analysis: customer profitability, business case preparation, KPI reporting.
  • Other: keep close communication with other areas, perform other assigned tasks as needed, and have the ability to work independently and in a team environment as part of an interdisciplinary team.
