Mission of the Job

Collaborate in supervising hydroelectric, Solar PV, and Onshore Wind power plants, at both local and international levels, ensuring optimal performance in coordination with local and corporate teams. The role also involves guaranteeing technical suitability and economic efficiency.

What will you learn with us?

Develop and implement best practices for processes and procedures to enhance business performance and monitoring. Tasks will be performed reporting to the Control Center Coordinator.

  • Control and supervise all connected installations.
  • Oversee production, ensuring plants operate within design parameters safely, reliably, and efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to processes, procedures, codes, rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Manage service interactions with the Control Center Manager.
  • Develop Service Requests and coordinate with accounting for job setup.
  • Assist in resolving O&M problems.
  • Conduct visual monitoring and data analysis to verify operating conditions and detect faults.
  • Include new projects in SCADA systems.
  • Perform diagnostic analysis to assess performance and recommend improvements.
  • Support organizational initiatives and procedures development.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements and Personal Skills

Education: BSc. in Engineering (Electrical preferred), FPII Renewable Energy, or related fields.

Professional Experience: No prior experience required; interest or experience in hydroelectric energy is highly valued.

Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel preferred); familiarity with SCADA/CMMS systems is a plus.

Additional Skills: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish; additional languages like French or Portuguese are advantageous. Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and perform in shifts.
