Formación

  • BSc. Degree in Engineering or FPII Renewable Energy or related fields.
  • Interest or experience in hydroelectric energy is highly valued.

Mission of the Job

Collaborate actively in supervising operating hydroelectric, Solar PV, and Onshore Wind power plants, both locally and internationally, in coordination with local and corporate teams to ensure optimized performance of the installed facilities. This role also involves guaranteeing technical suitability and economic efficiency.

What will you learn with us?

Develop and implement best practices regarding processes and procedures to enhance business performance and monitoring. Your tasks will be performed reporting to the Control Center Coordinator.

  1. Control and supervise all connected installations.
  2. Oversee production and ensure plant operation within design parameters reliably, safely, and efficiently.
  3. Ensure adherence to processes, procedures, codes, rules, regulations, and laws.
  4. Manage service interactions with the Control Center Manager.
  5. Develop service requests and coordinate with accounting for job setup.
  6. Assist in resolving O&M issues.
  7. Monitor operating data and parameters to verify conditions and detect faults.
  8. Include new projects in SCADA systems.
  9. Perform diagnostic analysis to assess performance and recommend improvements.
  10. Support organizational initiatives and procedures development.
  11. Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements and Personal Skills

Education: BSc. Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) or FPII Renewable Energy or related fields.

Experience: No prior experience required; interest or experience in hydroelectric energy is highly valued.

Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel preferred). Familiarity with SCADA/CMMS systems is advantageous.

Additional Skills: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish; knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and operate in shifts.
