JumbOnline is part of the TBO Group, a global platform aimed at simplifying all the buying and selling needs of travel partners worldwide. The proprietary technology platform seeks to simplify the demands of the complex global travel world by seamlessly connecting travel buyers and highly distributed travel suppliers at scale.

We are currently looking for a Contracting Manager for our Middle East DMC market, based in Palma de Mallorca.

The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of suppliers and analyze the market, purchase, and renew contracts for the assigned destination / product, ensuring its competitiveness and maximizing sales and profitability.

Responsibilities :

  • Developing and establishing relationships with the DMC suppliers in their portfolio. Being able to negotiate the best possible conditions, ensuring the suppliers have a clear understanding of our value proposition and tools to maximize their performance and competitiveness in B2B.
  • Enhance the assigned portfolio with new properties with high demand, sourcing new product in the assigned geography.
  • Perform online analysis and analyze prices and quality and take care of the contracting and renewal process end-to-end, ensuring all contracts meet internal standards and compliance requirements.
  • Manage suppliers effectively, be the main point of contact within the geographical region for all commercial matters, contracts, promos, contract amendments etc.
  • Cooperate with internal colleagues to ensure suppliers meet all health and safety requirements.

Accountabilities :

  • Responsible to sign the most competitive rates for JumbOnline clients in B2B and B2A environment.
  • Monitoring the performance of each supplier working closely with the pricing team to ensure optimal competitiveness and availability.
  • Ensure the supplier has a clear understanding of how the partnership with JumbOnline can lead to common success and optimize revenues.

Requirements & Experience :

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with suppliers.
  • Experienced with proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills in English. Spanish or any other language would be a nice plus.
  • Solid experience (3+ years) and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries, key competitors, industry issues, and related technology.
  • First-hand knowledge of the Middle East market would be a great asset.
