Contract / Freelance DevOps Engineer (6 months)

Apeirum is seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with our client, a European startup redefining digital mortgages. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes to help achieve specific infrastructure goals within a focused timeframe.

Responsibilities:

• Fully dedicated to:
• Maintain and improve CI / CD pipelines for efficient application deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a cloud-native environment.

• Support existing team:
• Document infrastructure and processes for long-term maintenance.
• Support and enhance existing Kubernetes clusters running production workloads on GCP.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with production Kubernetes workloads in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services and architecture patterns.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools, particularly ArgoCD.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code approaches.
